God Leads Me with His Spirit!

“For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.” — Romans 8:14 (NASB 1995)

If you believe in Jesus, you’re part of God’s family—and He gives you His Holy Spirit to help lead you each day!

He shows you what’s right, helps you say no to sin, and reminds you how much God loves you.

Try This:
Ask the Holy Spirit: “What do You want me to do today?” Then listen quietly for a few seconds.

Prayer:
Holy Spirit, thank You for leading me. Help me follow You with my whole heart! Amen.

The Spirit Gives Us Strength

“But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.” — Romans 8:11 (NASB 1995)

Did you know that the same Holy Spirit who made Jesus alive again lives in you if you believe in Him?

That means He can help you when you’re tired, scared, or need courage. His power is big enough for anything!

Try This:
When you feel weak, whisper: “Holy Spirit, help me be strong in You!”

Prayer:
Holy Spirit, thank You for Your power. Help me when I feel small or scared. I know You’re always with me. Amen.

Jesus Lives in Me!

“However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him.” — Romans 8:9 (NASB 1995)

If you’ve trusted Jesus and asked Him to be your Savior, something amazing happens—His Spirit comes to live inside you!

He helps you make good choices, learn more about God, and love others like Jesus does.

Try This:
Say out loud: “The Holy Spirit lives in me!” Then thank Him for never leaving you.

Prayer:
Holy Spirit, I’m glad You live in me! Help me to follow You and remember You are always with me. Amen.

Peace in Our Hearts

“For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace.”  — Romans 8:6 (NASB 1995)

When we only think about getting more toys or having our way, we often feel sad, angry, or worried.

But when we think about Jesus and how He wants us to live, we feel calm and happy inside.

That’s the Holy Spirit helping us feel peace.

Try This:
Before bed tonight, ask God: “Help me think peaceful thoughts.” Then say something you’re thankful for.

Prayer:
Holy Spirit, help me have a peaceful heart. I want to think about You and all You’ve done for me. Amen.

Thinking About God’s Way

“For those who are according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.”  — Romans 8:5 (NASB 1995)

What do you think about most? Snacks? Toys? Games? God wants to help you think about the best things—like loving others, doing right, and knowing Jesus better.

When we ask the Holy Spirit to help us, He reminds us of what’s good and true.

Try This:
Whenever you have a bad thought, ask: “Is this how Jesus would think?” If not, tell the Holy Spirit, “Help me change it!”

Prayer:
Holy Spirit, help me think good thoughts. Remind me to be kind, to listen, and to love like Jesus. Amen.

Don’t Put Out the Fire!

“Do not quench the Spirit.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:19 (NASB 1995)

The Bible says the Holy Spirit is like a fire. He helps us love God, do what’s right, and feel His peace.

But when we say no to Him or choose to do wrong, it’s like pouring water on that fire.

Let’s keep the fire burning by listening to Him and obeying.

Try This:
Draw a picture of a small campfire. Every time you obey God, imagine adding a new log to the fire!

Prayer:
Holy Spirit, help me listen to You and say yes to what You want. I don’t want to put out Your fire in my heart. Amen.

The Holy Spirit Sets Us Free

“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” — Day 492 Corinthians 3:17 (NASB 1995)

Do you like being free to run, play, and laugh? The Holy Spirit gives us freedom inside!

When you feel scared, guilty, or upset, He helps you feel peaceful again. He reminds you that Jesus has forgiven you and loves you always.

Try This:
Say out loud: “Thank You, Holy Spirit, for giving me freedom in Jesus!”

Prayer:
Holy Spirit, thank You for helping me feel free inside. I’m glad I can be happy, brave, and loved because of You. Amen.

The Holy Spirit Helps Me When I Don’t Know What to Say

“In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.” — Romans 8:26 (NASB 1995)

Sometimes, praying can feel hard. Maybe you’re sad or scared and don’t know what to say.

That’s okay—the Holy Spirit helps! He talks to God for you. He knows your heart even when you’re quiet.

Try This:
When you’re not sure what to pray, just whisper, “Help me, Holy Spirit.” He understands.

Prayer:
Holy Spirit, thank You for helping me when I don’t know what to say. Please talk to God for me and help me feel close to Him. Amen.

The Holy Spirit Helps Me Learn About Jesus

“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.”  — John 14:26 (NASB 1995)

When you read your Bible, do you know who helps you understand it? The Holy Spirit!

He teaches your heart about Jesus. He reminds you of what’s true when you forget. He helps you remember God’s love when you’re scared or sad.

Try This:
Before reading your Bible or Bible storybook, say: “Holy Spirit, help me understand!”

Prayer:
Dear Holy Spirit, thank You for helping me learn about Jesus. Please teach me more today. Amen.

God Grows Good Fruit in Me!

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control…”  — Galatians 5:22–23 (NASB 1995)

Did you know God can grow things in your heart? Not apples or bananas—but love, joy, peace, and more!

The Holy Spirit helps us grow to be like Jesus, and that means we start showing more love, more patience, and more kindness every day.

Try This:
Draw a fruit basket and write one word from Galatians 5:22–23 on each fruit. Ask God to grow those in your heart!

Prayer:
Holy Spirit, thank You for helping me grow good fruit in my heart. I want to be more like Jesus. Amen.
