🏡 Family Devotional — Day 196

Trusting God Through Every Season

đź“– “To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.
—Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NKJV)

Every family experiences different seasons in life. Some seasons are joyful and peaceful, while others may bring change, challenges, waiting, or uncertainty. God’s Word reminds families that every season has purpose under His sovereign care.

Sometimes it can be difficult to understand why certain things take time or why circumstances change. Yet God sees the whole picture, and His timing is always wise. Even when a family cannot see what He is doing, He continues working faithfully behind the scenes.

Families can grow stronger by trusting God together during every season. Prayer, time in Scripture, and encouraging one another help keep the family focused on God’s faithfulness instead of fear or discouragement.

Parents can model trust by remaining steady during uncertain times and reminding their children that God is always in control. Children learn that waiting and change do not have to produce fear when the family places its confidence in the Lord.

Each season also teaches important lessons. Joyful seasons encourage gratitude, while difficult seasons help families grow in patience, dependence on God, and perseverance.

Knowing Christ as a family means trusting Him through every season of life. As each person learns to rely on His wisdom and timing, the home becomes a place of peace, faith, and steady hope.

Prayer:
Jesus, help our family trust You through every season of life. When waiting or uncertainty feels difficult, remind us that You are always working for our good. Teach us to rest in Your timing, encourage one another, and walk together in faith and trust. Amen.
