Sharing Jesus Together
đź“– “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.”
—Mark 16:15 (NKJV)
Jesus gave His followers an important mission—to share the gospel with others. The good news of who He is and what He has done is meant to be shared with the world. Families can be part of this mission together.
Sharing Jesus does not always mean standing in front of large groups of people. Often it happens in everyday life—through conversations, acts of kindness, invitations to church, prayer for others, and living in a way that reflects Christ’s love and truth.
Sometimes people may feel nervous about talking about Jesus. But God does not ask families to rely on their own strength. Through the Holy Spirit, He gives courage, wisdom, and opportunities to share His truth with others.
Parents can teach children about the importance of sharing the gospel by speaking openly about Jesus at home and showing compassion toward others. Children learn that following Christ includes helping others come to know Him too.
A family that follows Jesus together becomes a light to others. Kindness, forgiveness, truth, and love within the home all help show what Christ is like to the people around you.
Knowing Christ as a family means not keeping His truth hidden, but faithfully sharing His love and the message of salvation with others. As your family follows Him together, He can use your home to encourage and point others toward Him.
Prayer:
Jesus, help our family faithfully share the gospel with others. Give us courage to speak about You with truth and love. Let our words and actions reflect Your grace so that others may come to know You. Amen.
