🏡 Family Devotional — Day 166

A Family of Integrity

📖 “Providing honorable things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.”
—2 Corinthians 8:21 (NKJV)

Integrity helps build a strong and trustworthy family. It means doing what is right in every situation—whether others are watching or not. God’s Word teaches that our actions should honor Him and reflect truth in how we live.

In a family, integrity shows up in everyday choices. It may be telling the truth, keeping promises, completing responsibilities, or choosing what is right even when it is difficult. These actions help build trust and strengthen relationships within the home.

Sometimes it can be tempting to take shortcuts or hide the truth, especially if it seems easier in the moment. But choosing integrity means trusting God and doing what honors Him, no matter the situation.

Parents play an important role by modeling integrity in their words and actions. When children see honesty and consistency lived out daily, they learn the value of doing what is right.

As each family member chooses integrity, the home becomes a place of trust, respect, and unity. Everyone knows they can rely on one another, and relationships grow stronger.

Knowing Christ as a family means living in a way that honors Him both privately and publicly. As you walk in integrity together, your home reflects His truth and faithfulness.

Prayer:
Jesus, help our family live with integrity. Teach us to do what is right in every situation, even when no one is watching. Strengthen our hearts to honor You in all we do and to build trust with one another. Amen.
