“God Already Knows What’s Coming”

It’s easy to feel anxious about the future—college, relationships, careers, the world falling apart on social media.
You’re not alone. But Jesus made a promise:
The Holy Spirit doesn’t just know the future—He tells us what we need to know in time.

That doesn’t mean you’ll get spoilers for everything that’s going to happen.
It means the Holy Spirit will warn you, prepare you, or strengthen you when things are coming.
Not so you can worry—but so you can walk in wisdom and faith.

The early believers didn’t guess their way through life.
They listened to the Spirit.
Sometimes He gave them peace.
Sometimes He told them to move.
Sometimes He showed them hard things, but always with hope.

So when the future feels blurry, remember:
God isn’t guessing.
He already knows.
And His Spirit walks with you.

For Real:

  • Do you ever feel nervous about what’s coming next in life?
  • How could inviting the Holy Spirit into those thoughts change your mindset?

Prayer:
 Holy Spirit, I don’t know what’s coming, but You do. Help me trust You, listen to You, and walk with You. Don’t let fear lead me—let faith grow in me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

One of the most precious truths Jesus gave His disciples before He went to the cross was this:
The Holy Spirit would not only guide them in truth but also prepare them for what was ahead.

As Christian families navigating an uncertain world, we don’t need to fear the unknown.
The Holy Spirit is still doing what Jesus promised—telling us the things to come,
not to make us anxious, but to anchor us in faith and obedience.

When we take time as a family to seek the Lord together, the Holy Spirit strengthens us,
gives peace before decisions, prepares us for change, and reminds us that God is in control.

This is a powerful reminder for mothers guiding their children:
you don’t have to have all the answers.
You just need to walk with the One who does.

Family Discussion:

  • Can you think of a time when God helped your family prepare for something ahead of time?
  • How can you listen more closely as a family when the Holy Spirit speaks?

Prayer:
 Holy Spirit, thank You for being our Helper and Comforter. Thank You for preparing us for things we cannot see and teaching us to trust You completely. Help our family walk together in peace, knowing You go before us. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

There are many voices speaking to us each day.
Some sound wise. Some feel spiritual.
But only one voice leads us into truth—the Holy Spirit.

He is not just a helper in hard times; He is the Spirit of truth.
He doesn’t echo our emotions or personal desires.
He teaches what God has already spoken—and leads us into alignment with His Word.

In a world filled with confusion, deception, and compromise,
we desperately need the Spirit’s discernment.

He doesn’t flatter. He doesn’t twist. He doesn’t appease.
He leads.

And when He leads, it’s always toward Jesus, always grounded in Scripture, and always for God’s glory.

Reflection Questions:

  • Am I listening for the Holy Spirit’s voice in my decisions and daily life?
  • Is truth shaping my walk, or my feelings?

Prayer:
 Spirit of truth, lead me. Guard my heart from deception. Help me recognize Your voice above all others, and walk in the clarity and peace of Your truth. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

He shows us how to make good choices,
how to be honest, kind, and brave for Jesus.

  • How can you follow His leading at school or at home?

You’ve got a lot coming at you—
Influencers. Algorithms. Opinions.
But truth doesn’t trend. It’s eternal.

The Holy Spirit is called the Spirit of truth for a reason.
He doesn’t shift with culture.
He doesn’t twist truth to make it more popular.
He leads you into what is real, pure, and right—always.

He’s not just there to comfort you—He’s there to lead you.
But are you following?

If you want truth, ask Him.
If you feel confused, talk to Him.
He doesn’t shout—but He speaks clearly to the heart that listens.

Think About It:

  • What voices are shaping your thinking right now?
  • Are you willing to follow truth even if it costs you popularity?

Prayer:
 Holy Spirit, I want to know the truth and walk in it. Help me ignore the noise and follow Your lead, even when it’s hard. Make me someone who stands for what’s right in a world full of lies. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

There is no shortage of voices trying to influence our families today—
social media, education systems, entertainment, even friends.
But the Holy Spirit has been given to believers to guide us into all truth, not just some truth or comfortable truth—but the truth that reflects Jesus Christ.

This promise is not just for individual Christians—
It’s a blessing for families who want to walk together in faith.

As mothers, we are called to shape our homes with the truth of God’s Word,
modeling dependence on the Holy Spirit,
and training our children to recognize His voice over the clamor of the world.

Truth is not relative. It’s not based on feelings.
It’s grounded in God’s Word and made alive in us by the Spirit.

Discussion Prompt:

  • How can we invite the Holy Spirit to guide our family in everyday decisions?
  • Are there voices in our home that need to be quieted so we can hear His?

Prayer:

So much of the Christian walk comes down to one question:
Who is getting the glory?

The Holy Spirit makes it clear. He always points to Christ.
He does not glorify Himself.
He glorifies the Son.

That’s how we know when something is of the Spirit:
It lifts up Jesus—
Not personalities, not platforms, not emotions, and not even signs or wonders.
Only Jesus.

When we submit our hearts to the Spirit’s leading,
He reveals the beauty, majesty, humility, and lordship of Christ.

And in every situation—whether in the mundane or the miraculous—He teaches us to say:
“To Him be the glory.”

Reflection Questions:

  • Is my life reflecting Christ, or calling attention to myself?
  • Am I allowing the Holy Spirit to glorify Jesus through me?

Prayer:
 Holy Spirit, I invite You to glorify Jesus in me.
Silence my pride.
Center my life on Christ.
Let every word I speak and every step I take be a reflection of His beauty.

When you shine it on something, everyone looks at what the light is pointing to.

That’s what the Holy Spirit does.
He is like a light shining on Jesus so we can see how good and amazing He is.

The Holy Spirit doesn’t point to Himself.
He helps us know Jesus, love Him more, and understand what He did for us.

When you learn something about Jesus from the Bible,
That’s the Holy Spirit helping you!

  • What is something special about Jesus that the Holy Spirit has shown you?
  • How can you tell others about Jesus today?

Prayer:
 Dear Holy Spirit, thank You for showing me who Jesus is. I want to know Him more and love Him with all my heart. Help me tell my friends about Him too. Amen.

We live in a world where everyone is trying to make a name for themselves—
Followers. Likes. Influence. Attention.

But the Holy Spirit?
He’s not about building platforms.
He’s about lifting up the name of Jesus.

And if you’re walking with Him, your life will do the same.

He reveals who Jesus really is—
Not the version people make up, but the One from the Word:
the Savior, the King, the Servant, the Lamb, the Lord.

You don’t have to glorify yourself.
That’s exhausting.
Let your life point to His name.

Think About It:

  • Do I want to be known more than I want Jesus to be known?
  • How can I glorify Him in what I post, say, and do?

Prayer:
 Holy Spirit, help me stop living for my name and start living for Jesus’. Show me how to make Him famous, not myself. Amen.

And that’s exactly what the Holy Spirit was sent to do:
To glorify Jesus.

He helps us see Jesus clearly—
In His kindness, His strength, His truth, His love.

And He teaches us to do the same.

As a family, we can glorify Jesus in:

  • The way we treat each other
  • The things we watch and listen to
  • The prayers we pray
  • The words we speak

When the Holy Spirit is leading, the name of Jesus will be honored in the home.

Prayer:
