🧒 Children’s Devotional — Day 108

Jesus Helps Me Trust Him

📖 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart.”
—Proverbs 3:5a (NKJV)

Trusting Jesus means believing that He knows what is best for you. Sometimes you understand what is happening, and sometimes you don’t. Even when things feel confusing or scary, Jesus asks you to trust Him because He loves you and cares for you.

Jesus helps you trust Him little by little. When you pray, listen to His Word, and follow Him, your trust grows stronger. You learn that Jesus keeps His promises and never stops caring about you. Even when something doesn’t go the way you hoped, Jesus is still good and still with you.

Trusting Jesus does not mean you will never feel afraid. It means you choose to believe that Jesus is bigger than your fear. When you trust Him, He helps your heart feel calm and brave, knowing that He is guiding you every step of the way.

Jesus wants you to trust Him because He is faithful. You can put your whole heart in His hands, knowing He will always take care of you.

Prayer:
Jesus, help me trust You with my whole heart. When I feel unsure or afraid, remind me that You love me and are always with me. Help me believe Your promises and follow You every day. Amen.

Jesus Is With Me Always

📖 “I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
—Matthew 28:20b (NKJV)

Jesus is always with you. Even when you cannot see Him, He has promised to stay close to you every day. When you feel happy, Jesus is with you. When you feel scared or lonely, Jesus is still with you.

Sometimes you might feel like you are all alone, but you never are. Jesus goes with you to school, stays with you at home, and watches over you wherever you go. He knows what you are feeling and cares about everything that happens in your life.

Knowing Jesus means trusting that He keeps His promises. He will not leave you, forget you, or walk away from you. His love stays the same every day, no matter what.

When you remember that Jesus is always with you, you can feel safe and brave. You can talk to Him anytime and trust Him to help you, because He is near and He loves you very much.

Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for always being with me. Help me remember that I am never alone and that You care about me every day. Help me trust You wherever I go. Amen.

Jesus Helps Me Forgive Others

📖 “Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.”
—Ephesians 4:32 (NKJV)

Sometimes people hurt your feelings or do something unkind. When that happens, it can be hard to forgive. You might feel sad, angry, or want to stay upset. Jesus understands those feelings, and He wants to help you forgive.

Jesus forgives you because He loves you, and He teaches you to forgive others the same way. Forgiving does not mean pretending nothing happened. It means choosing to let go of anger and trusting Jesus to help your heart feel better. When you forgive, Jesus brings peace where hurt used to be.

You don’t have to forgive all by yourself. When you ask Jesus for help, the Holy Spirit gives you strength to forgive even when it feels hard. Each time you forgive, you grow more like Jesus and learn to love the way He loves.

Forgiving others helps your heart stay kind and free. Jesus is always with you, helping you choose forgiveness and showing you how much He cares.

Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for forgiving me. Please help me forgive others when they hurt me. Give me a kind heart and help me love like You do. Amen.

🧒 Children’s Devotional — Day 105

Jesus Forgives Me

📖 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins.”
—1 John 1:9a (NKJV)

Jesus knows that you are still learning and growing. Sometimes you make wrong choices, say unkind words, or disobey. When that happens, Jesus does not turn away from you. He invites you to come to Him.

When you tell Jesus you are sorry, He forgives you. He does not stay angry or remind you of your mistakes. Jesus forgives because He loves you and wants your heart to be clean and happy again.

Forgiveness means you don’t have to hide or be afraid. You can always talk to Jesus honestly. He helps you learn from your mistakes and gives you a fresh start. Every time Jesus forgives you, He is teaching you how much He loves you.

Knowing Jesus means knowing that His forgiveness is real, kind, and always available. You can trust Him to forgive you every time you come to Him.

Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for forgiving me when I do wrong. Help me tell You the truth, learn from my mistakes, and trust Your love. Thank You for giving me a fresh start. Amen.

Jesus Helps Me Obey

📖 “If you love Me, keep My commandments.”
—John 14:15 (NKJV)

Jesus loves you, and He wants to help you obey Him. Obeying Jesus does not mean trying harder all by yourself. It means listening to Him and trusting Him to help you do what is right.

Sometimes obeying is easy, and sometimes it is hard. You might feel like doing something different than what Jesus says is right. But Jesus understands that obeying can be difficult, and He gives you help through the Holy Spirit.

When you choose to obey Jesus, you are showing Him that you love Him. Every time you tell the truth, choose kindness, forgive someone, or do what is right even when no one is watching, Jesus is helping you grow.

Jesus is patient with you while you learn. He forgives you when you make mistakes and helps you try again. Obeying Jesus helps you know Him better and walk closer with Him every day.

Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for helping me obey You. When it feels hard, remind me that You are with me and that You will help me choose what is right. Help me show my love for You by listening and following You each day. Amen.

Jesus Teaches Me Through His Words

📖 “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”
—Psalm 119:105 (NKJV)

Jesus teaches you through the Bible. When you hear His words, read them, or listen to someone read them to you, Jesus is helping you learn how to live and how to follow Him.

Jesus’ words help you know what is right and what is wrong. They help you understand how to love others, how to forgive, and how to trust God. When you feel confused or unsure, His words are like a light that helps you see where to go.

You don’t have to understand everything all at once. Every time you listen to God’s Word, the Holy Spirit helps you learn a little more. Over time, Jesus’ words stay in your heart and help guide your choices.

The more you listen to Jesus, the more you learn to know Him. His words help you feel safe, loved, and cared for every day.

Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for teaching me through Your Word. Help me listen, learn, and follow You as I grow. Thank You for guiding me and loving me every day. Amen.

Jesus Listens When I Talk to Him

📖 “The Lord is near to all who call upon Him.”
—Psalm 145:18a (NKJV)

Jesus loves when you talk to Him. You don’t need special words or long prayers. You can talk to Jesus just like you talk to someone who loves you and cares about you.

When you pray, Jesus listens. He hears you when you are happy and when you are sad. He listens when you are scared, confused, thankful, or excited. Nothing you say is too small for Him to care about, and nothing you feel is too big for Him to handle.

Jesus is always near. You can talk to Him in the morning, at school, before bed, or anytime during the day. The more you talk to Jesus, the more you learn to know Him and trust Him.

Jesus listens because He loves you, and He wants to be close to you every day.

Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for listening when I talk to You. Help me remember that You are always near and that I can talk to You anytime. I love You. Amen.

“Jesus Is My Friend”

📖 “You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.”
—John 15:14 (NKJV)

New Theme (Days 101–200)

“Knowing Christ”

Moving from being formed by the Holy Spirit into walking closely with Jesus Himself—His words, His heart, His ways.

Jesus is not far away. Jesus is not just someone you read about in the Bible. Jesus wants to be your friend. A friend listens to you. A friend cares about you. A friend helps you. A friend stays with you.

Jesus listens when you pray, cares when you are happy or sad, helps you when things are hard, forgives you when you mess up, and stays with you always.

You can talk to Jesus anytime—when you wake up, when you play, when you feel scared, or when you are thankful.

Jesus loves you, and He wants you to know Him and walk with Him every day.

Talk About It:

  • What would you like to tell Jesus today?
  • How can you talk to Jesus like a friend?

Prayer:

Jesus, thank You for being my friend. Help me talk to You, listen to You, and follow You every day. I love You, Jesus.

The Holy Spirit helps you know God by teaching you God loves you, helping you pray, helping you obey, helping you grow, helping you trust Jesus, and helping you follow Him every day.

You are never too young to know God. And the Holy Spirit will help you learn more about Him every day.

🧒 Children’s Devotional — Day 98

“The Holy Spirit Helps Me Love Others”

📖 “By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
—John 13:35 (NKJV)

Loving others is not always easy. Sometimes people are kind. Sometimes people are not. Sometimes friends hurt your feelings. Sometimes family members make mistakes. But Jesus asks His followers to love—even when it’s hard. That’s why God gives you the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit helps you love others by reminding you how much God loves you, helping you forgive instead of staying mad, teaching you to be gentle and patient, helping you care about how others feel, giving you kind words to say, and helping you love like Jesus loves.

Loving others doesn’t mean letting people hurt you. It means choosing kindness, forgiveness, and goodness in your heart. Every time you choose love, the Holy Spirit is helping you grow more like Jesus.

Talk About It:

  • Who is someone you can show love to today?
  • How can the Holy Spirit help you love someone when it feels hard?

Prayer:

Holy Spirit, help me love others. Help me forgive, be kind, and care like Jesus does. Thank You for loving me and helping me share that love with others.
Amen.
