😎Walk by the Spirit — Day 9

“But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh.”
Galatians 5:16, NASB1995

Step by Step: Spirit Over Flesh

The battle between the flesh and the Spirit is real.
But the key isn’t fighting harder—it’s walking smarter.

Galatians 5:16 gives the strategy: walk by the Spirit, and you won’t carry out the desires of the flesh. That means the more you tune your heart to Him, the less power sin has over you.

Walking by the Spirit means being sensitive to His conviction, obeying quickly, and choosing holiness over hype.

Challenge:
Take time to ask the Holy Spirit, “Where am I walking ahead of You—or without You?”

Prayer:
Holy Spirit, I need You to lead every step. Keep me from paths that pull me away. Train me to walk in freedom. Amen.

😎The Mind Set on the Spirit — Day 8

“For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace.”
Romans 8:6, NASB1995

Train Your Mind

The world tells you to follow your heart. Scripture says: renew your mind.

Romans 8:6 doesn’t mince words—your mindset leads to death or life.
You can’t have a Spirit-filled walk with a flesh-fed mind.

The Spirit empowers you to discipline your thoughts, reject toxic inputs, and walk in clarity and peace—even when life is loud.

Reflection:
Are you feeding your mind with truth or distractions? What do you need to cut out?

Prayer:
Holy Spirit, I surrender my thoughts to You. Train my mind to seek You first and walk in peace. Amen.

😎 You Will Receive Power — Day 7

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses…”
Acts 1:8a, NASB1995

Power ≠ Platform

In a world chasing followers and likes, remember:
The Spirit gives power not for platform—but for witness.

This power helps you stand when you want to blend in.
It gives you words when you feel weak.
It’s the fire that fuels obedience, even when it costs.

Jesus didn’t say if the Spirit comes—He said when. That promise is for you. Not for show, but for mission.

Reflection:
How would your daily choices change if you remembered that you walk in Spirit-powered strength?

Prayer:
Holy Spirit, I receive the power You give—not to impress, but to witness. Help me be bold for Jesus. Amen.

😎 Walk by the Spirit — Day 6

“But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh.”
Galatians 5:16, NASB1995

Flesh vs. Spirit

The battle is real.
Your flesh wants comfort, attention, control. The Spirit wants surrender, truth, obedience.

You can’t walk both paths.

When you walk by the Spirit, you’ll notice your desires changing. Not overnight. But over time, your reactions, relationships, and responses start looking more like Jesus.

It starts with a daily “yes.”
Yes to prayer. Yes to truth. Yes to surrender.

Reflection:
Where are you tempted to walk by the flesh today? What would walking by the Spirit look like instead?

Prayer:
Holy Spirit, I choose You. Help me walk away from sin and into truth, one step at a time. Amen.

😎 Do Not Grieve the Holy Spirit — Day 5

“Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.”
Ephesians 4:30, NASB1995

Conviction Is a Gift

You know that feeling when something just doesn’t sit right after you say it or post it? That’s not guilt—it’s conviction.
And it’s the Holy Spirit trying to reach your heart.

Grieving the Spirit doesn’t mean He leaves—it means He’s wounded by your choices.
Not to shame you. But to restore you.

You were sealed for something greater. Don’t treat the Holy Spirit like a silent roommate—honor Him as Lord.

Reflection:
Where have you been ignoring conviction or brushing off His voice?

Prayer:
Holy Spirit, I want to live in a way that honors You. Speak to me when I go wrong and lead me to repentance. Amen.

😎 The Fruit of the Spirit — Day 4

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control…”
Galatians 5:22–23, NASB1995

Character You Can’t Fake

You can fake a smile. You can copy someone’s faith.
But the fruit of the Spirit? It’s real. And people can tell the difference.

The Holy Spirit grows character from the inside out—love that doesn’t depend on how someone treats you. Joy in hardship. Self-control when no one’s watching.

This isn’t just about being nice. It’s about being transformed.
It’s about being rooted in the Spirit so you don’t react like the world does.

Reflection:
What’s one area where your flesh wins more than the Spirit? Ask Him to grow fruit there.

Prayer:
Holy Spirit, grow something real in me. I don’t want to just look Christian—I want to be changed by You. Amen.

😎 You Will Receive Power — Day 3

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses…”
Acts 1:8a, NASB1995

Real Strength Isn’t Loud

Power today is loud, self-promoting, and usually fake. But the power Jesus promised is different.
It’s holy. Quiet. Unshakable.

When the Holy Spirit fills you, He gives you boldness to share the gospel, strength to stand apart, and love that doesn’t quit—especially when your peers don’t get it.

The early Church wasn’t influential—they were empowered.
You don’t need to be popular. You need to be filled.

Reflection:
What kind of power do you rely on most—God’s, or your own?

Prayer:
Holy Spirit, I need Your power to live differently. Use me to show who Jesus is, even if it costs me comfort or status. Amen.

😎 Teen Devotional — Day 80

“When Jesus had finished these words, the crowds were amazed at His teaching; for He was teaching them as one who had authority, and not as their scribes.”
Matthew 7:28–29, NASB1995

The Authority That Changes Everything
Jesus didn’t teach for likes, applause, or followers. His words carried authority because they came from the heart of God. His teaching flipped the world’s values upside down—inviting the weak, calling out the proud, and showing the narrow way.

If you’ve been walking through these verses, you’ve probably felt it—He’s not asking for fans. He’s calling for followers.

Challenge:
Do you believe Jesus has the right to define your choices, your identity, your future? If so—what needs to change?

Prayer:
King Jesus, You speak with power and purpose. Help me not just hear—but follow. Amen.

😎 Kingdom Teen Devotional — Day 79

“…and it fell—and great was its fall.”

Matthew 7:27 NASB1995

📉 When Faith is Just Talk

It’s easy to scroll past truth, hear sermons, nod your head—and do nothing. But Jesus calls that foolishness.

The collapse of a life not built on obedience isn’t always loud. It starts in secret: compromise, distraction, half-hearted devotion.

Don’t wait for the storm to reveal the weakness. Build now. Obey now.

🔍 Think Deep:

  • Am I obeying Christ, or just familiar with His words?
  • What’s one step of obedience I’ve been delaying?

🙏 Prayer:

Jesus, I don’t want to just admire You—I want to follow You. Help me live out Your truth with courage. Amen.

😎 Kingdom Teen Devotional — Day 78

(Note: There was an error in sequencing the Kingdom Living Devotional Series, an adjustment has been made to add the the last three days of devotions. The Living in the Power of the Holy Spirit series will continue on 6/27)

“…and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock.”

Matthew 7:25 NASB1995

💥 When Life Hits Hard

Storms come in many forms—rejection, anxiety, family drama, disappointment. Jesus doesn’t say “if” they come, but “when.”

What makes the difference? Foundation.

Faith grounded in His Word won’t cave under pressure. You won’t always feel strong—but when your hope is in Christ, you won’t be swept away.

🔍 Think Deep:

  • What storm has been pressing in on you?
  • Is there a verse or truth you can cling to when life hits hard?

🙏 Prayer:

Lord, help me stay grounded in You when life is messy. Make my heart strong and unshakable in You. Amen.
