God’s Spirit Helps Me Understand!

“Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God.” — 1 Corinthians 2:12 (NASB 1995)

Sometimes the world tells us things that sound right… but they aren’t what God says. That’s why God gave us His Spirit—to help us know the truth.

The Holy Spirit helps us understand what God has given us—like Jesus, forgiveness, love, and heaven!

When we believe in Jesus, we don’t have to guess anymore. We can ask the Spirit to show us what’s real and good.

Try This:
Ask your mom or dad to read a verse with you. Then ask, “Holy Spirit, help me understand!”Prayer:
Holy Spirit, thank You for showing me what God has given. Help me understand what is true. Amen.

The Holy Spirit Helps Me Remember!

“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.” — John 14:26 (NASB 1995)

Have you ever forgotten something important—like where you put your toy or what your mom asked?

The Bible says the Holy Spirit helps us remember the words of Jesus! He teaches us and helps us understand God’s Word.

When you read the Bible or hear a story about Jesus, ask the Holy Spirit to help you remember it later.

Try This:
Choose a Bible verse and ask the Spirit to help you remember it today.

Prayer:
Holy Spirit, thank You for helping me understand the Bible. Please teach me and help me remember what Jesus said. Amen.

The Holy Spirit Helps Me Pray!

“In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.” — Romans 8:26 (NASB 1995)

Have you ever not known what to say when you pray? That’s okay!

The Bible says the Holy Spirit helps us talk to God—even when we don’t know what to say. He prays for us in a special way only God understands.

You can talk to God anytime. The Spirit will help your heart speak, even without words.

Try This:
Close your eyes and sit quietly for a moment. Let your heart talk to God.

Prayer:
Holy Spirit, thank You for helping me pray. Even when I don’t know the words, You know my heart. Amen.

God Grows Good Fruit in You!

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.” — Galatians 5:22–23 (NASB 1995)

Have you ever seen a tree grow apples or oranges? It takes time and care!

God’s Spirit helps your heart grow fruit too—not fruit you eat, but things like kindness, patience, joy, and love.

You don’t have to try really hard—just stay close to Jesus, and the Holy Spirit will help you grow!

Try This:
Draw a fruit tree and label it with the fruit of the Spirit you want to grow!

Prayer:
Holy Spirit, please help me grow good things in my heart so I can love others like Jesus. Amen.

Walk with God Every Day

“But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh.” — Galatians 5:16 (NASB 1995)

Do you know what it means to walk with someone? It means staying close, listening, and going the same direction.

The Bible says we should walk with the Holy Spirit every day! When we do, we say “yes” to good things and “no” to bad things.

Try This:
Go on a walk with someone and talk about what it means to walk with Jesus.Prayer:
Holy Spirit, help me walk with You. I want to stay close and follow Your way. Amen.

Nothing Can Stop God’s Love

“For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” — Romans 8:38–39 (NASB 1995)

Have you ever worried that something could make Jesus stop loving you? The Bible says nothing can do that—not even scary things, mistakes, or faraway places.

The Holy Spirit helps you remember: God’s love is forever and always close.

Try This:
Hold your arms wide and say, “God’s love is this big—and it never lets go!”

Prayer:
Holy Spirit, help me remember that Jesus always loves me. Nothing can ever take His love away. Amen.

You’re on the Winning Team!

“But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us.” — Romans 8:37 (NASB 1995

Did you know that because of Jesus, you’ve already won? Even when things go wrong or people aren’t nice, you are more than a winner through Him.

The Holy Spirit helps you be brave, kind, and strong—just like Jesus.

Try This:
Make a “Victory Banner” that says: “Jesus helps me win!” and decorate it with your favorite colors.

Prayer:
Holy Spirit, thank You that I don’t have to be afraid. Jesus already won, and He helps me every day. Amen.

God’s Love Doesn’t Go Away

“Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or trouble, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? Just as it is written: ‘For Your sake we are killed all day long; We were regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.’” — Romans 8:35–36 (NASB 1995)

Sometimes we go through hard things. Maybe we get hurt or feel scared. But nothing can stop Jesus from loving us.

The Holy Spirit helps you remember that even in trouble, Jesus is with you. He never leaves your side.

Try This:
Draw a heart and write inside: “Nothing can stop Jesus from loving me.”

Prayer:
Holy Spirit, thank You that Jesus always loves me. Help me remember that no matter what happens. Amen.

Jesus Speaks Up for You

“Who will bring a charge against God’s elect? God is the one who justifies; who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us.” — Romans 8:33–34 (NASB 1995)

Did you know Jesus prays for you? He’s in heaven right now, speaking to God about you because He loves you.

When you make mistakes, He doesn’t stop loving you. The Holy Spirit helps you say sorry, and Jesus helps you stand strong again.

Try This:
Every time you feel bad about something, stop and thank Jesus for forgiving you.

Prayer:
Holy Spirit, thank You that Jesus prays for me. Help me remember I’m loved and not alone. Amen.

God Gave Us His Best

“He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?”  — Romans 8:32 (NASB 1995)

God loves us so much that He gave Jesus for us! That means He’ll take care of us in every way.

The Holy Spirit helps us trust that God knows what we need and gives us good things to help us grow strong in faith.

Try This:
Thank God today for three things He’s given you. Then ask Him for something you need and trust Him with the answer.

Prayer:
Holy Spirit, thank You for reminding me that God gave me Jesus. Help me trust Him to give me what I need every day. Amen.
