God Helps Me Choose What’s Good

“Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: sexual immorality, impurity, indecent behavior, idolatry, witchcraft, hostilities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions, envy, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these…” — Galatians 5:19–21 (NASB 1995)

Sometimes we want to do things that hurt others—or ourselves. That’s called sin. But Jesus wants us to live in a better way.

The Holy Spirit helps you choose kindness, love, and truth.

Try This:
Make a “Good Choices” list with your parent. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you live it out.

Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for giving me the Holy Spirit to help me do what’s right. Help me say no to sin. Amen.

Follow the Leader!

But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the Law.” — Galatians 5:18 (NASB 1995)

Did you know the Holy Spirit wants to lead you every day—just like playing “Follow the Leader”?

When you follow Him, you don’t have to worry about all the rules. He helps you know what’s right and gives you the power to do it!

Try This:
Play “Follow the Leader” and talk about how we follow God’s Spirit every day.

Prayer:
Holy Spirit, thank You for helping me follow You. Teach me how to do what makes You smile. Amen.

Two Voices, One Choice

“For the desire of the flesh is against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, in order to keep you from doing whatever you want.” — Galatians 5:17 (NASB 1995)

Have you ever wanted to do something wrong—even when you knew it wasn’t right? That’s the flesh talking.

But the Holy Spirit gives you a better choice. He speaks to your heart and helps you do what makes God happy.

Try This:

Draw two arrows—one going up (the Spirit’s way) and one down (the wrong way). Choose the one that leads to Jesus!

Prayer:

Holy Spirit, help me listen to You and say “no” to things that aren’t good. I want to follow You. Amen.

Walk with the Holy Spirit!

“But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh.” — Galatians 5:16 (NASB 1995)

Walking with the Holy Spirit means letting Him help you do what’s right and say “no” to wrong things.

He’s like a guide and a best friend who helps you love God more every day.

Try This:
Take a walk today and say: “Holy Spirit, I want to walk with You!”Prayer:
Holy Spirit, please help me make good choices and walk close to You every day. Amen.

God’s Love Reaches Everywhere!

“…nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” — Romans 8:39 (NASB 1995)

There’s nowhere you can go where God’s love can’t find you—not up high, down low, or anywhere in between!

His love follows you to school, the park, bedtime—even when you feel scared.

Try This:
Draw a mountain, an ocean, and a heart. Write: “God’s love reaches me everywhere!”

Prayer:
Thank You, God, that nothing can keep me from Your love. Help me feel close to You always. Amen.

God’s Love Never Breaks

“For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers…” — Romans 8:38 (NASB 1995)

Can anything pull you away from God? Nope—not even the scariest things!

The Bible says nothing—not death, not danger, not today or tomorrow—can stop God from loving you.

Try This:
Make a “shield of love” drawing and write: “Nothing can break God’s love!”

Prayer:
Thank You, God, that Your love never leaves me. Help me feel safe in You every day. Amen.

I’m a Conqueror with Jesus!

“But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us.” — Romans 8:37 (NASB 1995)

Even when life feels hard, you are not a loser—you are a conqueror!

Jesus loves you, and the Holy Spirit helps you win against fear, lies, and sin. You’re on the winning team!

Try This:
Make a medal out of paper that says: “More than a Conqueror — Romans 8:37”

Prayer:
Thank You, Jesus, for helping me be brave. Help me remember I win with You! Amen.

Sometimes Following Jesus Is Hard

“Just as it is written: ‘For Your sake we are killed all day long; We were regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.’” —  Romans 8:36 (NASB 1995)

Some people don’t like Jesus, and they may not understand why you do.

But even when following Jesus is hard, you don’t have to be afraid. The Holy Spirit helps you be brave!

Try This:
Draw a sheep with a heart on it and write: “I belong to Jesus.”

Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for loving me. Help me be brave when others don’t understand. Amen.

Nothing Can Take Me from Jesus!

“Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or trouble, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?” —Romans 8:35 (NASB 1995)

Bad days happen. But guess what? Nothing can take you away from Jesus’ love!

The Holy Spirit is like a big hug reminding you, “You still belong to Him.”

Try This:
Make a heart and write inside it: “Jesus loves me—no matter what!”

Prayer:
Thank You, God, that nothing can take me from You. Help me remember You love me every day. Amen.
