Jesus Helps Me Obey
📖 “If you love Me, keep My commandments.”
—John 14:15 (NKJV)
Jesus loves you, and He wants to help you obey Him. Obeying Jesus does not mean trying harder all by yourself. It means listening to Him and trusting Him to help you do what is right.
Sometimes obeying is easy, and sometimes it is hard. You might feel like doing something different than what Jesus says is right. But Jesus understands that obeying can be difficult, and He gives you help through the Holy Spirit.
When you choose to obey Jesus, you are showing Him that you love Him. Every time you tell the truth, choose kindness, forgive someone, or do what is right even when no one is watching, Jesus is helping you grow.
Jesus is patient with you while you learn. He forgives you when you make mistakes and helps you try again. Obeying Jesus helps you know Him better and walk closer with Him every day.
Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for helping me obey You. When it feels hard, remind me that You are with me and that You will help me choose what is right. Help me show my love for You by listening and following You each day. Amen.
