Jesus Teaches Our Family Through His Word
📖 “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.”
—2 Timothy 3:16 (NKJV)
Jesus teaches families through His Word. When Scripture is read, spoken, and lived out in the home, Christ is shaping hearts together. The Bible is not just a book for church or quiet time; it is meant to guide daily family life, decisions, attitudes, and relationships.
In a family, God’s Word provides direction when choices are difficult, comfort when life is heavy, and correction when attitudes or actions drift away from truth. Parents learn how to lead with wisdom and grace, children learn how to follow and grow, and everyone learns how to love one another more faithfully.
Knowing Christ as a family means allowing Scripture to have a voice in the home. It does not require perfection or long study sessions. Simple moments—reading a verse together, talking about what Jesus teaches, praying over His Word—allow faith to take root naturally over time.
As families continue to return to Scripture, the Word of God becomes familiar and trusted. It shapes how family members speak to one another, resolve conflict, and respond to challenges. Through His Word, Jesus is actively forming a home where truth, grace, and love grow together.Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for teaching our family through Your Word. Help us listen to what You say and apply it in our home. Guide our conversations, our decisions, and our relationships so that our family grows closer to You and reflects Your truth in daily life. Amen.
