“The Holy Spirit Fills Me With Real Joy”
📖 “In Your presence is fullness of joy.”
—Psalm 16:11b (NKJV)
Joy is something every person wants—yet many teens struggle to find it.
People often look for joy in:
• friendships
• social media
• entertainment
• achievements
• relationships
• success
• distractions
But those things only bring temporary Happiness. Real joy—deep, lasting, steady joy—comes from one place: the presence of God. And the Holy Spirit is the One who fills you with that joy.
He reminds you of God’s love when life feels heavy.
He gives you peace even when circumstances don’t improve.
He brings comfort that grows into joy over time.
He helps you see blessings you often overlook.
He strengthens your heart when sadness tries to overwhelm you.
He gives you a sense of purpose that lifts your spirit.
He helps you laugh, smile, and rest in God’s goodness.
Joy isn’t the absence of struggles—it’s the presence of the Holy Spirit. When you walk closely with Him, joy becomes part of who you are, not just something that comes and goes based on how you feel.
Talk About It:
- What steals your joy the fastest?
- When have you felt the Holy Spirit give you joy even when things were hard?
Prayer:
Holy Spirit, fill me with real, lasting joy. Help me trust You in hard times and see Your goodness in every season. Let my heart rest in Your presence and let joy overflow from within me. Amen.
