🏡 Family Devotional — Day 71

“The Holy Spirit Helps Our Family Hear God’s Voice”

📖 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says…”
—Revelation 2:7a (NKJV)

Families make many decisions—big ones, small ones, practical ones, emotional ones, spiritual ones. And in the middle of all the noise of life, it can be hard to know what God is saying. But the Holy Spirit speaks to families just as He speaks to individuals.

He helps your home slow down and listen.
He brings clarity where there is confusion.
He guides decisions with peace instead of pressure.
He warns your hearts when something isn’t good.
He strengthens unity when everyone seeks God together.
He leads your family to Scripture that speaks into your situation.
He reminds each of you that God is near and faithful.

A family that listens to God’s voice becomes a strong, steady, and peaceful home—not because everything is perfect, but because the Holy Spirit is guiding your steps.

When your family prays together, reads Scripture, and invites the Spirit to lead, you begin to recognize His voice more easily—and His guidance shapes your home with wisdom and love.

Talk About It Together:

  • What decision or situation do we need God’s direction for right now?
  • How can we listen better as a family to what the Holy Spirit is saying?

Prayer:

Holy Spirit, help our family hear and follow Your voice. Guide our choices, calm our hearts, and lead us in wisdom and unity. Teach us to listen for Your guidance and walk together in the truth of Your Word. Amen.
