“The Holy Spirit Grows Good Fruit in Our Home”
📖 “By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit.”
—John 15:8a (NKJV)
Every family produces a kind of “fruit”—the attitudes, habits, and patterns that grow out of how you live together. Some fruit grows naturally from stress, busyness, or misunderstandings. But the fruit the Holy Spirit grows is different—it brings life to the whole home.
When a family invites the Holy Spirit to guide their hearts, the atmosphere begins to change.
He grows love that puts others first.
He brings joy that can brighten even a difficult day.
He gives peace that settles the home when emotions rise.
He helps everyone show patience when things don’t go as planned.
He strengthens kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—
all through His power at work in each heart.
This kind of fruit doesn’t grow overnight.
It grows as your family chooses to listen to the Holy Spirit,
to pray together, and to let God shape your responses and decisions.
A home filled with the fruit of the Spirit becomes a place where Jesus is seen, felt, and honored—one day, one choice at a time.
Talk About It Together:
- What fruit of the Spirit do we want to grow more in our home?
- How can we help each other show that fruit in our daily decisions?
Prayer:
Holy Spirit, grow Your fruit in our family. Help us love one another, forgive quickly, and treat each other with gentleness and patience. Fill our home with peace and joy as we follow You together. Amen.
