😎 Teen Devotional — Day 48

“Who’s in the Spotlight?”

📖 “He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you.”
—John 16:14 (NKJV)

It’s easy to want the spotlight.
Likes, attention, recognition—those things can feel good. But Jesus said the Holy Spirit doesn’t point to Himself… He points to Christ.

That’s how you know you’re walking in step with the Spirit—your life starts shining the light on Jesus, not you.

The Spirit doesn’t inspire pride; He produces humility.
He doesn’t drive hype; He deepens holiness.
He’s not here to make your name famous, but to make Jesus known through your life.

Want to grow in your faith?
Let the Holy Spirit teach you who Jesus is, and live so others see Him in you.

Think About It:

  • Are you more focused on being seen, or showing who Jesus is?
  • What’s one way you can glorify Jesus today?

Prayer:
Holy Spirit, I don’t want to be the center of attention. Help me live in a way that makes people think more about Jesus than me. I want to glorify Him with my whole life. Amen.
