“Your Home Is a Testimony”
📖 “And you also will bear witness, because you have been with Me from the beginning.”
—John 15:27 (NKJV)
When Jesus said, “You also will bear witness,” He wasn’t only speaking to those standing in front of Him.
He was speaking to every believer who would walk with Him—and that includes you and your home.
As a mother raising children in Christ, you may not feel like your daily life is a witness.
But every time you forgive quickly, speak truth in love, or gently correct your child with Scripture, you are testifying.
You’re showing your children what it looks like to walk with Jesus.
They’re watching how you respond to stress, how you pray, how you serve, and how you talk about the Lord.
So don’t underestimate the power of your quiet, steady example.
The most lasting testimonies aren’t always public—they’re lived out daily.
Discussion Questions:
- What does it mean for our family to be a witness for Jesus?
- In what ways can we talk about Jesus more often in our home?
Prayer:
Lord, let our home be a place where You are known and spoken of. Help me live in a way that shows my children what it means to walk with You. May our whole family bear witness to Your goodness and truth. Amen.
