“The Helper Testifies”
📖 “But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.”
—John 15:26 (NKJV)
The Holy Spirit is not a distant mystery—He is a personal, powerful Helper sent by Jesus, dwelling in every believer, and constantly bearing witness to the Son.
As Christian families, we are not left to navigate this world in our own strength.
We have the Spirit of truth—the One who testifies of Jesus.
This means your home can be a place where the Spirit teaches, reminds, convicts, and comforts.
It means our parenting, conversations, and daily choices can be influenced by His presence.
He points to Christ—always. And as we follow His lead, our lives do too.
Let your children hear the name of Jesus in your home.
Let them see that the Holy Spirit is active, not just on Sundays, but in ordinary moments.
And when the world presses in with confusion and lies, remind them:
We have the Spirit of truth.
Family Reflection:
- What does it look like for your family to depend on the Holy Spirit?
- Are you giving the Spirit space to testify of Jesus in your home?
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for sending the Holy Spirit to our family. Teach us to listen to His voice and to follow His lead. May our home reflect Jesus in all we do. Amen.
