👩‍🦰 Women’s Devotional — Day 78

The Flesh Is Obvious, But the Spirit Is Greater

“Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: sexual immorality, impurity, indecent behavior, idolatry, witchcraft, hostilities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions, envy, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these…” — Galatians 5:19–21 (NASB 1995)

Paul doesn’t hide the truth—he lays it bare. The deeds of the flesh are loud, destructive, and obvious. But so is the Spirit’s answer: walk with Me.

You don’t overcome the flesh by pretending it’s not there. You overcome it by crucifying it through the Spirit’s power and replacing it with the fruit of His presence.

You’re not called to manage sin—you’re called to be free from it.

Reflection:
Are there areas in my life I’ve excused as “just the way I am”?

Prayer:
Holy Spirit, expose what is not from You. Burn away the works of the flesh in my life, and lead me into purity. Amen.
