“Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”
— Matthew 5:10 NASB1995
⚔ Preparing for Real Faith
Persecution for righteousness isn’t just something that happens “over there.” It can happen in school, in families, or even among friends. When your children live out their faith with conviction, they will feel the friction of a world that does not love what is right.
As a mother, you have a powerful opportunity to prepare their hearts—not by shielding them from hard things, but by grounding them in truth, love, and courage. Don’t minimize the cost. Instead, magnify the reward.
🕯 A Mother’s Role
Be a voice of courage. Teach your children that suffering for righteousness is not failure—it’s faithfulness. Remind them that this world is not our home, and that those who endure belong to the Kingdom of God.
📖 Talk About It:
- Has anyone rejected you or treated you differently because of your faith?
- What helps us stay strong when following Jesus is hard?
🧰 Kingdom Practice
Read stories together of believers who suffered for Christ. Talk about what it means to live faithfully, even when it’s hard. Pray for believers around the world who are persecuted right now.
✍️ Prayer
Lord, help our family be faithful no matter the cost. Give us courage to live for You and to rejoice even when we are misunderstood. Let us hold fast to Your Kingdom. Amen.
